The majority of our services are bulk-billed, offering you significant savings because the entire cost of those services is bulk-billed to Medicare. We also keep out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum, bringing your dream of having a baby closer to reality.

Bulk billing is a payment option under the Medicare system, where your health services provider directly receives the Medicare rebate as full payment for their services. This means you are not required to pay any up-front costs for bulk-billed services.

At First Step Fertility, we don’t charge a Registration Fee for standard IVF services. Also, if your IVF cycle results in a number of excess embryos, we offer complimentary storage fees for the first 6 months at NO COST.

What we Offer:

We offer the following fertility treatments: IVF, ICSI and FET.
The majority of our services are bulk-billed providing you with significant savings.
Our IVF treatment involves a Fully Stimulated Cycle to maximise the number of embryos from your cycle and give you the best chance of a successful pregnancy.
You will be seen by qualified IVF specialists who work on a rotational basis and will jointly be looked after by experienced fertility nurse coordinators during your treatment.

Please note patients seeking IUI (Intra-Uterine Insemination), donor sperm/eggs, surrogacy services or more complex treatment options can be referred to a full-service fertility clinic. Please contact our friendly staff for more details.

Who is Eligible?

In order to begin treatment, patients must meet the following criteria:

Have a Medicare card.
Fall within a healthy body weight range to meet our guidelines.
Have been diagnosed by a First Step Fertility specialist as medically infertile.
There is no financial means test – so you don’t have to worry about being financially ineligible for IVF.
